The Art Scene is an exhibition project produced by ArchiViVitali and Villa Carlotta that is divided into two thematic sections: The Secret Theatre at Villa Carlotta in Tremezzina (Como) and Straniamenti in the Spazio Circolo in Bellano (Lecco). This is the first diffuse contemporary art project on Lake Como that connects the two historically different shores. The two exhibition venues in turn narrate this different nature: on the one hand, an ancient villa with a glorious history set in one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Europe and, on the other, a historic workers’ club recently transformed into an exhibition space. La Scena dell’Arte is a journey where theatrical action and the visual arts meet and confront each other: each lends the other tools and languages to transform itself into a great poetic staging. The result is an imaginative tale where the inventions of an ensemble of set designers, artists and creatives find their place.
