The second chapter of the project that ArchiViVitali has dedicated to the magical and alchemic technique of original engraving, inspired by the conclusion of the archive of Giancarlo Vitali’s engraved work. The exhibition traces the undisputed masters of original engraving in the Achille Bertarelli Print Collection of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. Eighteen masterpieces selected by the Conservator of the Civica Raccolta delle Stampe Bertarelli Giovanna Mori -Rembrandt, Goya, Ensor, Boccioni, Bartolini, Morandi – are put in dialogue with as many sheets by Giancarlo Vitali.
