The Bellano Festival celebrates its twenty-first anniversary with two unmissable evenings dedicated to great opera music. Under the artistic direction of Maestro Roberto Gianola, the Festival returns to enrich the Larian summer with events of international scope, confirming its status as a major event on the Italian music scene.
On Saturday 2 August 2025 at 9 p.m., the GRAN GALÀ will be held at the Giardini Eliporto. The spotlight will be on the finalists of the 9th Edition of the “Bellano Paese degli Artisti” International Opera Singing Competition and, after the selections to be held in Bellano from 30 July to 1 August, the best talents will perform in an exciting final concert accompanied by the Lake Como Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Gianola. An evening that will treat the audience to the most famous arias from the international opera repertoire, performed by promising voices from all over the world.
On Saturday 9 August 2025 at 9 p.m. at the Giardini Eliporto, Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot, one of the most beloved operas in the repertoire, will be staged for the first time in Bellano, with an international cast bringing to life the characters of this legendary story of love and mystery:

The director is Elena D’Angelo, the sets and costumes are by Grandi Spettacoli, and the orchestra is the Lake Como Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Roberto Gianola.
Both events will take place in the picturesque setting of the Giardini Eliporto in Bellano, overlooking Lake Como.
In case of bad weather, the performances will be held at the Palasole, in Via T. Grossi.
